The Greater Company of Mary defined as that vast number of person who are in any way involved in the ministry and life of the Little Company of Mary, thus co-workers, colleagues, volunteers, families of sisters, friends of any religious affiliation of denomination.
Affiliates
Are those band of people who commit to praying for the dying of the world. They have made a commitment to join with the Sisters in their ministry of Prayer for the Dying of the world in union with Mary on Calvary. “Union with God is the object and end of prayer” their only obligation is to pray for the dying each day.
Associates of the Little Company of Mary were part of the original inspiration of the Founder, Mary Potter. She sought to gather together mean and women who shared her vision of creating a better world by living lives of faith, hopa and love in the service of the suffering and dying members of Christ’s body.(For further information contact Sr.Elizabeth Farmer LCM)
Mary Potter’s Volunteers
Mary Potter’s Volunteers are members of the Greater Company of Mary who share in the Little Company of Mary mission and ministry to the suffering and dying people of our world. A specifed period of commitment to active ministry, distinguishes the work of the Mary Potter’s Volunteers from other ways of being part of the Greater Company of Mary.
It is the same spirituality which is at the heart of every aspect of the Little Company of Mary and Greater Company of Mary.
